Welcome to the Cross Legacy

This is Alaina Cross 

She just moved to town after attending college, her parents bought her a empty lot in town for her but sadly they both died in a fire while she was in college. After paying off her tuition from the first part of her parents inheritance she was left with a small part of a old horse barn was all that was left.

 

The only thing she had was a sleeping bag and the clothes on her back. Inside the windowless dark room was a old rotting chair, and after killing some roaches she put down her sleeping bag.

The newspaper boy left todays newspaper at her door so she started reading it and saw a ad for a Singer to do Sing-a-grams. She was excited she finally had a job.

She called a cab with the little money she had, heading to the Park.

So excited she started running to the large fountain in the center of the park.

 

She threw on over top her other clothes the company sent her, and started singing for tips.

She did soon draw a good crowd.

 

And they started dropping money in her Jar.

 

Finally late afternoon after singing all that time she grew hungry, and spotted a couple enjoying a picnic lunch and asked them if she could join them just to sit down as she was about to pass out she told them. They offered her and another teen who sat down to help herself to a hamburger, we made to many and they will just go bad, go ahead they said.

 

It was approaching sunset so on her way back towards her place she stopped at a beach that was a big hang out to sing some more.

She only attracted a young girl and a woman, maybe her mom, Alaina thought. Never-less the girl loved her singing but only the mom gave her a bit in tips.

One last stop before home she sneaked into the Public pool to use their shower and toilet. Never did she wish for something so simple as a shower of her own than she did tonight.

Alaina finally arrived home, exhausted but a new friend she made today gave her a call and they talked a bit about Alaina's singing and Alaina told her how broke she was.

 

Finally to tired to do anything else she tucked into her sleeping bag for the night.

 

The next day Alaina awoke sore so she stretched a bit before getting up.

So hungry and not really wanting to spend her money on a delivery pizza she walked down to the beach at the bottom of the cliff her home is on and picked some Limes.

 

Knowing it would be mouth puckering sour she was to hungry to care.

 

But after that she spied a huge watermelon on the ground and used her pocketknife to cut the rotten parts off but still got a good amount of fruit from it and ate that also. 

Finally full she saw another friend form yesterday she saw Jamie on the beach then and chatted with her a bit.

As she reached the top of the Pathway that leads back up to her property she spotted a seed on the ground and picked it up.

 

Looking around for more things she could find she saw two types of wildflowers growing on the other side of the property and picked them to.

 

She was growing hot from being on the beach so she called a cab and went back to the Public Pool for a dip.

 

Then made her way back to the Park for more singing for tips.

Not drawing much of a crown today she walked over to the Library then to find some books on Gardening since she has some seeds and found more at the Park also she needed to know how to plant and care for them.

 

After reading for a few hours she got called to do a Sing-a-gram and headed to the Bar where her client was. After cheering her up she walked upstairs and found some bread and jam in the fridge and it was good timing to. It was late and all she had to eat today was that Lime and the bit of Watermelon and she was starving.

 

While she was here she might as well make a drink to, she thought.

Then she was called for one more Birthday Sing-a-gram. And after she called a cab again to take her home.
